Let us examine in detail the various stages of a poker game Texas Hold’em, in order to have clear the entire hand.

In online poker, a virtual dealer deals the cards. A player at a time is symbolically the dealer: this does not mean that it will distribute the cards, but that will be marked with a button (within which the letter “D”), and that the two players to the left must put the blinds in the pot (or “blind”). The player immediately to the left of the dealer pays the small blind (“small blind”), while the next player will pay the big blind (“big blind”). This takes place before the cards are dealt, and its purpose is to ensure a dish to win the hand of poker.

At this point, each player, starting with the one to the left of the dealer receives two hole cards (visible only to the player himself). Is then carried out a first round of betting, where each player can evaluate and decide to leave the game, see the stakes, or raise. This first phase of a hand of Texas Hold’em online, is called “Pre-Flop”.

On the table virtual (the “Board“), are then discovered three cards. There are three “community cards” that can be used by all players still in the race, which in Texas Hold’em are called the “Flop”. It is now another round of betting, again beginning with the player to the left of the dealer, which is the first to “talk.”

Another “community card” is then displayed on the board: it is the “Turn“, which is followed by another round of betting among the participants.
The last “community card” (the fifth), is finally discovered: this is the stage of “River“, where you run the final round of betting before the “Showdown” phase in which the player who made the ‘last episode shows his cards.

In “Showdown” is decreed the winner of the pot according to the highest point. The players, with the exception of those who made the last bet and be the first to show their cards, they can choose not to see the hole cards, and give to the winning hand shown by the opponent. When there are equivalent points, is taken as the reference card with the highest value, excluding those that make the point (also called the paper “kicker”). In the case of scores of all equivalents, divides the plate into equal parts (in this case we have a “Split Pot”).
