1 Introduction to Poker
I do not think that there is a person in Italy who has not at least heard of the game of poker. The film chronicles the paint and as a gambling game, practiced by shady characters to pluck the chicken guy.
In fact, poker has noble origins, requires an ability to analyze and nerves and not just today (finally!) is elevating the eyes of the general public.
There are infinite variations of the game of poker, but do not change the fundamental characteristics: players receive cards and at a later time you bet on who has the best hand. There you have got it all wrong? Do not worry, the next few paragraphs will illuminate.
2 points
Before you even learn the real game you have to be versed on the combinations (or points) of poker. Each point is a combination of 5 cards. Recalling that internationally using French cards (so 52 cards without Jokers), here are the combinations in descending order:
High Card
It ‘s the lowest point. When you can not get any combination of superior value your point is a poor High Card.
Pair
The pair consists of two cards of the same value (two Q, two 10, two 4, etc..) And three unmatched cards.
Two Pair
The Two Pair is a point formed by the union of two couples and a kicker.
The Two Pair is named after the pair higher.
Tris
Tris consists of three cards of the same value.
Scale
The scale consists of 5 cards next value, regardless of the seed (for example 5,6,7,8,9). The Ace can be used as the value “one” (the scale A, 2,3,4,5) or after the K (for scale 10, J, K, R, A). The scale takes its name from its highest card, the example of “Scale to Q” (Straight, Queen high).
Flush
To have a color all the cards in your hand are the same suit.
The color is named after its highest card, in the example “Color Ace” (Flush, Ace high).
Full
The Full is a point consisting of a kind and a pair. It ‘a very strong point of view that does not happen very often. The Full is named after its kind, in the example “Full to 5″ (Full house, Kings full of 5s).
Poker
Poker consists of four cards of the same value.
Royal Flush
The strongest point in the game of Poker consists of 5 cards of the next (as in scale) and of the same suit. She always takes its name from its highest card “Royal Flush to 9″ (Straight-Flush, 9 high).
Here ended the record of points. Do not worry if you feel a bit ‘confused, practice will make you learn the scale of values in the blink of an eye!
