Born August 10 in Longworth, Texas, now residing in Las Vegas, Doyle began playing poker when he was still in high school. Brunson had more talent for the game of basketball. He led his team to the championship of Texas but because of some events that Doyle did you leave the path of basketball.
The dream of playing with the fifty best players’ NBA, Brunson was stopped from a broken right leg in an accident in the factory where she worked. He realized that he could no longer enter the ‘NBA and focused on school, earning his degree at Hardin-Simmons University.
After finish the studied he decide to teach but had no money to afford to do this. He begin to work selling machinery until they started playing poker while I was selling machines. Seeing that had happened in the game decided to join the poker legend Amarillo Slim, Sailor Roberts and many others. After the introduction of poker in Las Vegas, Doyle founded a home.
When the World Series of Poker began, consisted of a single tournament, with world champion Johnny Moss elected the first one year. As the tournament grew, Doyle was able to get the title in 1976 and 1977. He participated in the World Series for $ 5000 and have ten bracelets in the 2005 championship Short Handed No-Limit. He became a legend in the World Poker Tour, winning the 2004 edition of Legends of Poker Championship with a head to head against Lee Watkinson.
