Everest Poker brand has filed a lawsuit against Harrah’s Entertainment – the owners of World Series of Poker. As you all know, Everest poker- owned by Ultra Internet Media, signed a deal agreeing to sponsorship World Series of Poker in the years 2008-2010 including.
The deal we’re talking about is $22.5 million high! In return Everest was supposed to have their logo on each and every table including those of the T.V. apparently they haven’t since a French television affiliate featured Full Tilt Poker’s logo. Now Everest lawsuit claims to pull out of the 2010 WSOP, which according to the deal would have cost them $8.4 million.
Either way, or whoever is to blame, the WSOP has lost an $8.4 million sponsor and we all get to see Harrah’s Entertainment crawling and twisting to find a new one for this year World Series of Poker. As for us? We decided to show Everest Poker our support by using the Everest Poker Bonus and joining the new VIP summit club that makes us love Everest more than any other poker room. You know what? I think we’re going to download Everest Poker now!
No doubt about it – the French television is cousin the poker world a lot of troubles, and it’s not the first time. Some of you might remember Daniel Negreanu case, when the French television covered the story of him leaving a poker tournament saying that he’s an exclusive Full tilt player while in fact he’s a known Poker Stars player.
