Born in 1957, is a poker player Chinese, twice world champion. In 1952, the Chan family moved to Hong Kong in 1968 in Phoenix, Arizona and in 1973 in Houston, Nevada.
His family operates restaurants and Chan, at age 21 he moved to Las Vegas, leaving the University of Houston, to become a professional player of poker.Began a major player in the late ’80s, when he won twice in row (1987 and 1988) the main event World Series of Poker.
